Maria has dreamt of launching the CBM brand since she was in high school, she has taken years planning and designing to ensure it is the perfect extension of herself.
Maria’s thought process when creating the brand and the idea behind it was to give everyone pieces they can style with things they already own. Mixing and matching graphic airbrushed tees, shorts or a cozy sweatsuit brings us back to that nostalgic feeling. Largely for those brought up in NYC or inspired by the culture NY has especially when it comes to fashion.
CBM, is a representation of old NY in the 90’s early 2000’s. The brand is a rebirth of its inspirations and values. As a brand we value inclusivity & building a community. We want you to feel like you’re a part of our crew when you’re wearing CBM.
As our founder, Maria emerged into the social media scene back in 2015. Her growth in the fashion industry led her to push herself outside of her comfort zone & start what she’s been determined to start. Maria wants everyone to feel like they can be whatever they want to be, especially when wearing her designs - hence the name Could Be Maria.
